Wikileaks: More and More of Less and Less
No need to take the red pill or blue pill; you are now living in the Matrix.
Technology is expanding our world exponentially at a mind-boggling pace, but no matter how technical the language, the core issues are all too human – hinged to our being and the fabric of our societies.
In dumping more than 250,000 US diplomatic cables to the public, Wikileaks is giving us more and more of less and less – forcing a redefinition in at least three major areas: journalism, international relations, and constitutional law & civil rights.
Inside the World of Anonymous Attacks
I felt like a character in a spy thriller sci-fi movie. Little did I know how deeply I would get dragged in.
I watched the static screen of Operation Payback – the Anonymous video and listened to the machinelike human voice. It said, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the Truth becomes a revolutionary act.” Then the Rolling Stones’ PAINT IT BLACK began playing in the background. The voice continued, “We are Anonymous. What you do or do not know about us is irrelevant.”
Julian Assange Interpol Documents
Confidential Interpol documents about the global alert on Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Title is FUGITIVE WANTED FOR PROSECUTION. (Interesting that the red notice misspelled his name “Julien.”) This was given separately by two sources from different countries which prove authenticity. Have redacted code identifying source.
LESSONS I LEARNED WHEN I WAS TEN
Family and friends are touchstones. They mark phases of our changing selves and mirror our past to help us adapt to our future. Had a running conversation the past few days. We decided that our core selves were formed when we were much younger. Inspired me to dig out this speech I gave at a Beacon School Commencement in 2007. I hope you enjoy it.
